How to apply

The application process is straightforward. Read the instructions carefully and complete the form. Occasionally, we have to ask applicants to re-submit; this is usually because they have not included sufficient depth and detail to show their understanding of the course and their commitment to it. We want you to succeed and will support you in any way we can.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - COHORT 6 (NOV 2026)

Please note Cohort 6 NPQs  will be delivered directly by your local teaching school hubs One Cornwall SWIFT.  The NPQs and lead providers remain the same.

You can complete an expression of interest for Cohort 6 (November 2026).  The OneCornwall SWIFT  team will notify you when the official application window opens (likely June 2026).  The DfE portal will be closed until the official application window opens.  We will confirm funding eligibility when further updates are available from the DfE.

Please note there are separate application forms for Teach First and National Institute of Teaching NPQ programmes and guidance for the applications can be found above.  All programmes are delivered by our expert local facilitators.
